Plastic Bag Ban for Inquiry

On Tuesday 5th September, Room 2, Mrs Storey and Room 3 met with Raj from Hunua General Store. Room 2 presented their Inquiry into banning plastic bags and offered an alternative: a reusable shopping bag that has been designed by students! Mrs Storey has generously donated her time and efforts into making the students' Inquiry a reality! Room 3 presented a stack of 'light reading' - persuasive and informative letters asking Raj to stock reusable bags instead of plastic bags. It was incredible to see our 'Change Agents in the Making' improving our environment and sustainability by taking on the next part of our Inquiry cycle: Agency through Action!
